Since June 2013, the Glasgow Women’s Library Mixing The Colours project has been delivering workshops with women across Scotland to gather opinion and inspire discussion about intra-Christian sectarianism.
As a result we have produced a collection of resources including a book, a film and a series of podcasts which showcase the experiences and opinions of the women with whom we have worked so far.
We are now hosting workshops for the Clients and Carers from Dalreoch Day Care Centre.
These workshops will feature readings of extracts from the Mixing The Colours: Women Speaking About Sectarianism anthology which provide a unique showcase of women’s insights, and participants will have the opportunity to share their own experiences and visions for the future of Scotland. Participants will also receive a copy of the Mixing The Colours book.
The workshops are closed to the public but if you would like to attend another event or get involved in the project please contact Rebecca Jones at rebecca.jones@womenslibrary.org.uk or by calling 0141 550 2267.
