Making Her Mark Exhibition at Kairos Women+

Thursday, 4th August, 2022 to Thursday, 1st September, 2022

From residents of nineteenth century poorhouses to women who were writers and artists, this vibrant interactive exhibition reveals some of the stories uncovered by RAMH and Kairos Women+ who participated in the Renfrewshire based Making Her Mark project.

Making Her Mark exhibition, Thursday 4th August – Thursday 1st September at Kairos Women+, Paisley, Free, visit during opening hours

and Tuesday 7th June – Thursday 28th July, Glasgow Women’s Library

You’ll find not just women from the past, but also the story of how the project kept growing through Covid and lockdown. Discover tales of resilience and creativity and how women* from today have rescued the stories of forgotten women from the past and ensured they are celebrated into the future. How are women in Scotland celebrated? Is there a woman you know of who you think a street should be named after them?  There’s also plenty of space for you to share your thoughts and ideas.

This exhibition was created in partnership with RAMH and Kairos Women+. The project was possible thanks to funding from the Renfrewshire Culture, Heritage and Events Fund. GWL’s national outreach work is funded by the Scottish Government.
