From Glasgow Women’s Library – souvenirs to empower and celebrate women’s history, Thursday 1st March to Thursday 8 March, is a series of events organised in partnership with Craft Scotland’s ‘Meet Your Maker’ programme, marking a yearlong collaboration with design curators Panel to develop a new, limited edition collection of library souvenirs. Launching this exclusive series of products inspired by our collections.
Embrace your creativity! Design and carve your own charm from wax with jeweller Joy BC. After the workshop, a finished charm in precious silver is cast from your model and posted directly to you. The workshop will follow an introduction by the artist Ruth Ewan.
This event is open to all and we prefer for tickets to be booked in advance whenever possible. This event has been cancelled due to ongoing travel disruption. We are in touch with everyone who booked and hope they can attend the rescheduled date, alternatively we will offer refunds. This event costs £30 full price to cover costs for materials for the workshop. Select the number of tickets you want to book below, or come in to the Library to book.
