Poet Giovanna MacKenna will welcome you to our online space where you’ll play with words and hone your poems. Together we’ll make creative leaps through surprising prompts that will get your toes tapping and your confidence rising. Open to aspiring poets – whatever your experience.
Calling all Poets! This Calm Slam workshop is inspired by our Open the Door theme of Women and Music. Our Open the Door Calm Slam Competition is a space for poets who are ready to step out of the shadows and take their writing to the next level. If you have work you want to share – but aren’t up for a full-on SLAM – then this is the competition for you.
We are holding another Calm Slam Workshop on Friday 20th June at Glasgow Women’s Library with poet and musician Lesley O’Brien.
