Have you ever been verbally abused in the street? Have you been threatened or intimidated by someone on public transport? Have you been the target of abuse online? Have you been physically hurt? Do you believe that you were targeted due to your gender, sexuality, race, religion, disability or a combination of these?
If you have answered yes, you may have been subject to a hate crime.
On Monday 13th June 1pm-3pm, we will host a safe space discussion, open to all women with physical disabilities, physical or sensory impairments, learning disabilities or mental health conditions. Our aim is to explore and reflect on women’s experiences and perspectives of disability hate crime, taking empowering collective action against prejudice and discrimination.
The session is women-only and space is limited so booking is required. To book a FREE place please contact Rebecca Jones at rebecca.jones@womenslibrary.org.uk
