Discover Women’s History in Dennistoun – field trip

This week the project group are visiting the Glasgow Golden Generations group in Battlefield to chat to them about their memories of Dennistoun life. Who are the women in Dennistoun’s past? Maybe you know a Dennistoun woman whose story deserves to be remembered? In this exciting new project, we’ll discover these hidden histories and then help to develop a new women’s heritage trail and booklet. You can meet new people, take part in creative arts and crafts sessions inspired by Dennistoun stories and learn new skills in how to discover local history.

The event is free and for women only* (16+). To attend, please book below and we will share an email invitation with you. If you would like to make a donation to Glasgow Women’s Library, there is an option do so when you ‘check-out’ with your ticket. *All women-only events are inclusive of Trans and Intersex women, as well as non-binary and gender fluid people who are comfortable in a space that centres the experience of women.
