Discover Women’s History in Dennistoun – postponed

UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO STAFF ILLNESS, THIS SESSION HAS BEEN POSTPONED, BUT WILL BE REARRANGED FOR A DATE IN NOVEMBER. NEXT WEEK’S SESSION WILL RUN AS USUAL 10AM TO 12NOON AT GLASGOW WOMEN’S LIBRARY.
In this craft/creative session, we’ll be creating self portraits – no drawing or painting skills required! bring along a photograph if you like.
Who are the women in Dennistoun’s past? Maybe you know a Dennistoun woman whose story deserves to be remembered? In this exciting new project, we’ll discover these hidden histories and then help to develop a new women’s heritage trail and booklet. You can meet new people, take part in creative arts and crafts sessions inspired by Dennistoun stories and learn new skills in how to discover local history.

The event is free and for women only* (16+). To attend, please book below and we will share an email invitation with you. If you would like to make a donation to Glasgow Women’s Library, there is an option do so when you ‘check-out’ with your ticket. *All women-only events are inclusive of Trans and Intersex women, as well as non-binary and gender fluid people who are comfortable in a space that centres the experience of women.
