The Women of the Gorbals Heritage Walk will take you on a time travelling journey from the Napoleonic Wars to the modern day New Gorbals. Suffragettes, Jewish and Asian immigrants, hawkers, and weavers will all be brought to life, and you’ll hear of how they used their resourcefulness and creativity to survive and thrive the daily challenges to make ends meet.
