A special edition of The Newsletter, produced by the Women’s Health Information Centre, that discusses how racism affects Black women’s health.
“Though WHIC is predominately a White organisation we see this issue of our newsletter as part of an attempt to challenge the racism that exists and to make our organisation more accessible to Black women and more Black women oriented. […] We recently decided that the editorial group should consist of women who are involved in the particular topic chosen. This newsletter was therefore compiled by an editorial group consisting wholly of black women.”
