An update on visiting Glasgow Women’s Library

There is no longer a legal requirement to wear face coverings indoors in public buildings in Scotland.

However, as we continue to prioritise the health, safety and comfort of our Glasgow Women’s Library visitors, volunteers and staff, and in line with continued guidance, we ask that:

All visitors, volunteers and staff continue to wear face coverings when moving around the building. Face coverings can be removed when seated socially distanced at one metre from one another.

While in the building, people should continue to observe social distancing of 1 metre.

There will be plenty of hand sanitiser around the building.

When you visit, our team will be on hand to answer any questions and provide any help you need to feel reassured and welcome at GWL

We ask that if you feel unwell with any Covid-19 symptoms that you do not visit the Library.

Our opening hours are currently:

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 10am to 4.30pm

Just wondering what your opening times are likely to be over the festive season? Hoping to visit the Vanessa Baird exhibition with my daughter in the holiday period but realise you might not be open!
