Annot Wilkie/Robinson, 1874-1925
“I am Annot Wilkie and I was a teacher. I was the Dundee organiser for the WSPU, although I later left and became a suffragist, joining the NUWSS. In 1907 I, with several other women, gate-crashed a political meeting in Lochee. I stood on a chair and shouted “I want an answer!” I was also part of the notorious ‘Trojan horse’ raid on the Houses of Parliament, hiding in the back of a furniture van.”
Researched by GWL and read by Chris Gray.
