There are many campaigns to challenge our ideas about mental health and its effects on our community. What is often hidden however is that women are more likely to suffer from anxiety and depression than men? Did you know?
- In UK 1 in 4 women compared to 1 in 10 men are treated for depression. That means 25% of all women in the UK will be treated for depression.
- That 1 in 10 adults are prescribed anti depressants, women being 2.5 times more likely than men to be treated.
Monday 18 April, 11.30am to 2.30pm
