When the Glenburn girls group started meeting in January 2010 the girls said they wanted to publish a book that included some of their writing, so they have been working away for months on producing poems, stories and articles about their lives in Glenburn, their family and friends, women they admire, and the things they enjoy doing. The girls have now produced an anthology of “poems, stories and random writing”. This event is a celebration of the girls achievements and a chance for family and friends to see the new publication. Copies of the book will also be available at libraries in Renfrewshire.
Glenburn Library Learning Centre, Fairway Avenue, Paisley at 3.30pm-4.30pm on Wednesday 22nd December.
