Behind the doors of this fairly average city centre building lies a Scottish success story. These are the temporary premises of Glasgow Women’s Library and its unique collection of archive materials that record Suffragettes to Women’s Libbers, and contains knitting patterns to radical badges.
Saturday 19 September, 10am to 1pm
81 Parnie Street (2nd Floor), Glasgow G1 5RH
A part of the Doors Open weekend we are inviting you to drop in to meet our new archivist and explore the Library’s hidden gems for a sneak preview before we relocate to permanent premises at the Mitchell Library.
