Women Writers Unite: She Settled in Scotland

This event has now passed. Please check the Calendar for new and upcoming events, including more ‘Women Writers Unite‘ events.

Following the success of Women Writers Unite launch for International Women’s Day we are planning an evening of readings about or by women who have settled in Scotland. With readings from Kokumo Rocks (Stolen From Africa, 2007) and Chiew-Siah Tei (Little Hut of Leaping Fishes, 2008) and students from the ground-breaking Glasgow University Creative Writing post graduate course, this evening is destined to be filled with wonderful, inspiring work read with passion.

This event is open to men and women. Wine will be available on the evening (for a small donation to cover our costs) and there will be time to chat with the writers, buy copies of their work and have them signed.

If you would like to join us please get in touch or please pass this information on to anyone who would be interested in coming along.

This work is supported by the Scottish Book Trust Live Literature Fund.
