Recieved some information this morning about a festival I have never heard of before but sounds really interesting so I thought I would share it with you all.
The Govan International Festival of Music, Literature, Theatre, Film and Dance and it runs from 19th to 27th of October.
The festival is nine days of five art forms happening in three venues in the heart of Govan. This year’s theme, human rights and diversity, is celebrated through music, literature, theatre, film and dance. Dance yourself silly at a ceilidh, listen to newly signed bands at the Grand Ole Opry or watch a Polish play. Exciting new elements have been included both dance and film events are on offer. There will be guest appearances by award winning film maker May Miles Thomas and actor Martin Compston and they will discuss their work with audiences.
