Baby Boys All Round

We are overcome with emulsion, as my mum would say. First off, our lovely Board member Catherine Martin gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, brother to wee Alice, and now our dear, dear Wendy has also had a boy – 9.30pm on Saturday 19th May, 7lbs 1oz and all is well with the world. I spoke to Wendy yesterday and she is hoping to visit us next week – we are SO excited – our first Library babies – like buses, after waiting for ages two come at once. As you will gather from previous Blogs, we miss Wendy so much so her visit will be met with big hugs, probably more tears and lots of ooooos and aaahhhhs as we tickle the baby (apparently they like that). We will introduce him to the art of classification and the world of books – never too early. CONGRATULATIONS to Wendy and Catherine from us all xxx
