Glasgow Women’s Library Book Group is welcoming and inspiring, connecting women who like reading with each other and to a host of amazing and surprising new reads. The book group is one of the Library’s longest running and most popular regular groups, meeting approximately once a month at the GWL space.

The cost for a one year membership is £10 full rate or £5 subsidised rate for people on low income, students, unemployed or in receipt of benefits. Alternatively, this group is free to Friends of GWL.

Your membership fee helps cover the costs of the Book Group for which we currently do not have another source of funding.

Membership is payable upon joining the group and is renewed annually. We are unfortunately unable to offer a refund if you leave part way through the year. You will only be charged once your membership of the book group has been confirmed by the book group facilitator. All payments will be handled directly through Glasgow Women’s Library, and can be paid in cash, cheque or via paypal.

If you wish to pay by cash you can do this by visiting the library, Monday to Wednesday and Friday, 9.30am to 5pm, and Thursday, 9.30am to 7.30pm.

You can also send a cheque made payable to Glasgow Women’s Library to us at 23 Landressy Street, Glasgow, G40 1BP. Please write on the back of the cheque “Book Group Membership” and your name.
