Throughout its history GWL has championed and supported women writers, and provided a space for them to share their writing and connect with readers. We’ve hosted emerging writers as well as established ones, writers based in Scotland and writers from around the world, in person and online.
This timeline includes writers who either officially launched their book at GWL, or held an event within 6 months of a book’s publication, as well as books and pamphlets published by GWL.
It is a work in progress! One of our volunteers is gradually working their way back through past programmes to create a record of all the books launched at GWL since we opened our doors in 1991.
