The Library will be closed over the Christmas period from Monday 22nd December to Monday 5th January 2015.
Following the successful launch of their Women’s Heritage Walk in March 2013, Aberdeen Women’s Alliance will now be running outreach workshops where anyone can share their own stories of Aberdeen women and take part in fun craft and heritage activities
This exciting new Heritage Lottery supported project aims to research and document the life histories of ordinary local women throughout West Dunbartonshire and showcase these through the development of a unique community and educational resources, including a Memory Box.

Bring along a bite of lunch and relax while you listen to a story being read out loud, then join in with some lively discussion. This warm and welcoming group suits women of all ages, from all walks of life.
Mandy McIntosh, Artist in Residence for the Women of Glasgow, is looking to work with local East End women to produce drawings and words which can be processed into artworks for display on London Road.
