Bring your packed lunch and picnic rug and join us for some poetry in the park! A selection of wonderful poets, including our very own Reader in Residence Magi Gibson, will be reading from their work in the great outdoors at Glasgow Green. Come along and be inspired and uplifted at this unique lunchtime event. We will be meeting at the drying greens, next to the Templeton Carpet Factory (ask if you need directions). In case of showers we will have a back up plan.
Are you a book lover? Or maybe you want to get back into reading again after a long break and don’t know where to start? Our friendly read-aloud group, led by Magi Gibson and Librarian, Wendy Kirk, offers the perfect chance to relax and recharge for a couple of hours. Bring along your lunch and join us as we explore stories and poems by a range of amazing women writers from around the world, all washed down with lots of tea and friendly chat.
