Women’s History Unwrapped – Fort William

Wednesday, 20th September, 2017, 3:00pm to 4:30pm

There are ordinary heroines and extraordinary women in every community’s history, but where can you find them and how are they recognised?

Women’s History Unwrapped, Wednesday 20th September, 3pm-4.30pm, Lochaber Hope, Dalnahaine (Old Nevis Bank Nursery), Belford Road, Fort William

Credit: GWL

View Lauren Printy Currie’s exhibition in the Travelling Gallery which was inspired by the unique resources and artefacts at GWL, a place dedicated to conserving women’s history. Discover the treasures in our Mobile Mini Archive, share your ideas for an archive about local women and find out how you can make a women’s heritage project happen in your community.

This workshop is offered in partnership with WEA Women in the Highlands and Travelling Gallery and with support from Outset Scotland and Heritage Lottery Fund.
