What better way to explore the East End than in the company of our lovely tour guides on wheels?
A previous women’s heritage bike ride attendee told us, “I got more information today than in the 8 years I’ve lived in Glasgow and met a wonderful group.”
Join our cycling tour guides for this gentle ride along traffic-free cycle paths and be awed by the exploits of women cyclists, from Suffragettes to peace campaigners, from athletes to those preferring slower, more social rides.
The ride will start and finish at GWL, where those who wish to do so can indulge in tea, cake and a full tour of our building.
If you don’t have your own bicycle Next Bikes are available to hire from Bridgton Cross for £1 per 30 minutes. You can find out more about bike hire here.
