Meet at Kelvingrove Bandstand
This women’s heritage walk is part of the Kelvingrove Bandstand event, A Trip Through the Twenties. To book on visit the Glasgow Women’s Library stall at the Kelvingrove Bandstand on Saturday 11th July. Places are booked on a first come, first served basis and we can accommodate up to 20 people.
A day to celebrate the activities of the 1920s era! Visit the Kelvingrove Bandstand for performances and activities for all the family themed around the 1920s when the bandstand was in its heyday. There will be music, fashion, dance and a heritage walk. Be swept back in time to the roaring 20s! This day is brought to you in association with Mischief La Bas and Glasgow Life.
We will also be holding a March of Women Pop Up as part of the event, come and see us on stage at 12.30pm and join us for rosette making at the Glasgow Women’s Library stall.
