On the weekend of our 25th Anniversary (and 10 years after the inauguration of GWL’s pioneering women’s history walks) we launch a new walk looking at women who made history in the Gorbals: women carving their impression on Art to Industry, Politics to Immigration.
Meeting Point in The Gorbals will be confirmed before the event. Please leave your email when you book so that we can send details of the meeting point.
Be the first to experience our much anticipated new heritage walk and collect our Women of the Gorbals map hot off the press! Our wonderful tour guides will give you insights into what women achieved in this ever changing district Southside of the River Clyde.
This walk is open to all and is free to attend. All places must be booked in advance to ensure that we can send details of meeting point before the walk. Tickets are sold out, please email info@womenslibrary.org.uk to have your name added to the waiting list. When you email please state how many tickets you would like and leave a contact phone number.
Please book below (you will be taken through the shopping cart but no charge will be made) or you can call us on 0141 550 2267. If you have booked a place and are no longer able to attend please let us know so that we can make your place available to someone else.
Start point for the walk will be given in a confirmation email approximately 1 week prior to the walk. Please check your spam or junk email folders if you have not received this in your inbox.
We ask that you do not bring dogs (or other pets) other than guide dogs along on the walks. Contact us if you are unsure about anything, we are happy to answer any questions. If you have booked a place and are no longer able to attend please let us know so that we can make your place available to someone else.
