With the recognition that sectarianism is not simply a problem of men and football and that people experience sectarianism differently, Mixing The Colours is addressing how sectarianism affects women in diverse communities.
Women are speaking about intersectional bigotry, anti-social behaviour, issues of challenging sectarianism, revealing hidden accounts and sharing their hopes and aspirations for a tolerant and peaceful Scotland of the future.
This workshop will explore women’s unique experiences through their creative writing and outcomes of their discussion sessions, the outcomes of Mixing The Colours so far and hands on access to the resources we have available for your project via the library.
We will explore the unique considerations for workshop planning and delivery with a gendered perspective to support you to encourage women to develop, implement and lead on effective and sustainable solutions to sectarianism
