Urban or rural, near or far, women writers have enfolded ecological feminism, landscape and environment into their creative writing for decades.
At this Story Cafe Special we celebrate Waymaking, an anthology of women’s adventure writing published in October 2018.
Writers from the anthology will take us on a journey through their work, answering your questions about what it means for us to be women in the wilderness, our senses sharpened and our imaginations invigorated.
We’ll enjoy readings from the anthology by some of the writers themselves, followed by open, informal discussion about the themes of women in the landscape, adventure and women’s access to space and place.
