GWL Warm Welcome drop-in days take place on the first Saturday of every month. If you are new to GWL this is a relaxed way to find out about borrowing, volunteering, our collections, programmes and projects, and get a full tour and your questions answered.
These drop in sessions are a great way to learn more about what goes on in the library. These monthly special sessions, on the first Saturday of each month, are ideal for visitors who are new to Glasgow or new to the Library and want to find out more about what we have on offer. You’ll always get a very warm welcome and everyone is welcome.
These Warm Welcome sessions are open to all, free to attend and there is no need to book. The number of people in the exhibition spaces at any one time will be managed in line with GWL’s Covid-19 guidelines. Visit during GWL opening hours.
Glasgow Women’s Library is wheelchair accessible, with lifts to the first floor and the Mezzanine Floor. We have accessible toilets and all the bathrooms are individual closed stalls and are gender neutral. Our larger Events Space is fitted with an induction loop. A portable induction loop is also available. For paid events free companion tickets are available.
Find more information on Accessibility at GWL or contact us and we will be very happy to offer assistance.
