Who are the local women you remember and why? Where did they live and what did they do? How should they be remembered? From the well-known to unsung heroines, this friendly and informal event will include short talks, a fun women’s quiz, discussion and hands on activities to give you an introduction to Glasgow Women’s Library and some of the women’s heritage projects happening across Scotland.
This GWL opportunity is part of East Dunbartonshire Leisure and Culture Trust’s Trails and Tales programme which is supported by the Heritage lottery Fund and Creative Scotland. The 3 year programme will lead to the development of a series of new sculpture and arts heritage trails across the local authority.
