Trailblazers: Dispatches from the Kabul Café

Dispatches-from-the-Kabul-CafeIn the second of our Trailblazers events, highlighting the achievements of adventurous and daring women past and present, we’re delighted to welcome Canadian journalist Heidi Kingstone to GWL.

Heidi has wide experience covering human rights issues, conflict and politics, which has taken her to countries including Bangladesh, Democratic Republic of Congo and Sudan.

Heidi will be talking about her career as a journalist, her commitment to reporting about important yet neglected stories, and her experience of writing her first book, Dispatches from the Kabul Café.
