On the 17th of June, millions of people across the country will be getting together with their neighbours to share food and celebrate all that we have in common.
The event marks one year since MP Jo Cox was killed. Jo lived her life according to the belief that we have more in common than divides us, and in that spirit, her husband Brendan and friends are hoping as many of us as possible will mark the anniversary by organising or attending a celebration in our community that weekend.
In partnership with the Scottish Government we are hosting a Great Get Together Tea Party and Lunch, gathering together as women in all that binds us as a community. And in that spirit we’re really happy to announce that First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon will join us on the day.
Children Welcome!
