This relaxed afternoon drop-in session will give you an opportunity to be the first to hear about the wonderful events we have coming up at GWL this Spring. Come along for lots of tea, chatter and exclusive previews of workshops, film screenings and talks scheduled for the coming months. There’ll also be a book sale run by our volunteers, a mini crafting session, tours of our beautiful building and, of course, cake!
So do come along and join us on the day, whether you are new to the library or a well-seasoned visitor, we look forward to welcoming you.
1.30pm and 2.30pm: Building tour (including an introduction to our current exhibitions: While We Wait, an exhibition of a portrait series by Rayna Caruthers, and Please Leave a Message: Creating Space with Writing presented by the Free Writing Society from Glasgow School of Art).
1pm to 3pm: preview of upcoming activities (talks and video screenings)
1pm to 3pm (drop in): crafting session (origami for beginners)
The book sale will be on all day (11am to 4pm)
