Using extracts from oral history interviews conducted as part of the Speaking Out project, we frame the exhibition through the voices of women associated with the Women’s Aid movement over its 40+ years of history.
This tour focuses on themes of women supporting women, the origins of the movement, and the impact of Women’s Aid in changing attitudes and responses to domestic abuse. The exhibition opens on 21st September (5.30pm to 7pm) and continues until 21st October. For more information about the exhibition, please see here.
This tour is open to all and is free to attend. Please book below (you will be taken through the shopping cart but no charge will be made) or you can call us on 0141 550 2267.
