Glasgow Women’s Library and AMINA Muslim Women’s Resource Centre are proud to join forces again this year to support 16 Days of Action.
We will be hosting a seminar around the topic of coercive control in order to raise awareness about this subtle — and often undetected – form of domestic abuse and the impact it can have on victims.
Using our recently developed training toolkit, Shifting Sands, our aim is to illustrate and explore coercive control in more depth in order to gain an understanding of how to effectively support those who are subjected to this type of abuse.
We are keen for community activists from Scotland to attend the seminar in order to become more acquainted with material available. We want to ensure that people across the country have access to information about coercive control in order for change to be possible.
Glasgow Women’s Library and AMINA continue to strive for a fairer Scotland, where women’s voices are heard, valued and celebrated
