We are pleased to screen our new short film Shifting Sands, which tells the story of a woman in an abusive and controlling relationship that is stripping away her sense of self by taking away her liberty and freedom.
Charting a journey of survival and hope, this timely and important screening is part of 16 Days of Action Against Gender-Based Violence and follows new Scottish legislation criminalising psychological domestic abuse and coercive and controlling behaviour.
After the screening, the discussion will be led by Mariam Ahmad, Domestic Abuse Case Worker.
This evening screening follows the popular launch of the film on Thursday 28th November at Cineworld, Silverburn.
In partnership with the Daisy project.
This screening will be subtitled.
