Women look at the She Settles in the Shields exhibition at Community Launch in 2011

Women look at the She Settles in the Shields exhibition at Community Launch in 2011 This is a great opportunity for people who are interested in our exciting new project “Seeing Things”, for women who want to attend more exhibitions, performances, and concerts happening in Glasgow. The group’s first trip will be a visit to the People’s Palace to see their collections and also their year-long exhibition on the Red Road flats which ends next month. It will be a great opportunity to meet other members of the group, as well as to find out more about the project and what we’re planning to see over the next few months.

We will meet in the GWL at 2pm and make the short trip down to the People’s Palace together.

Seeing Things is a project for women who want to see more ‘things’ happening in Glasgow. There is a rich and exciting program of theatre, art, music, film and other performance planned in the city during 2014, and this project is designed to create a safe and friendly environment for women who want to participate in these activities, even if they haven’t felt comfortable or able to do so before.
