If you would like to be getting out to see more things happening in Glasgow then this group might be for you!
Seeing Things gives women the opportunity to see and try new things, such as art exhibitions, music, theatre or comedy together with other women who are also interested in exploring some of the many cultural events Glasgow has to offer. Seeing Things also aims to support women’s cultural contributions to Glasgow by focusing on seeing work by women artists and creatives or work which is about women’s lives and histories.
The group is a great way to get to know your city and see things by or about women. So far this year, the group has been to exhibtiions and workshops at Streetlevel Photoworks, Govanhill Baths, Glasgow Sculpture Studios and more besides! Seeing Things is open to all women. If you are interested in joining the group please contact us at info@womenslibrary.org.uk or telephone us on 0141 550 2267.
Additionally, you are welcome to come along to our Seeing Things planning meetings to find out more about the group and the kinds of things which we go to.
