What: a film screening called Cinesthesia: Anonymous was a Woman
When: Wednesday March 7th, at 1.45 PM – 3.30 PM.
Where: Kelvin Hall (see on the map). We will meet in the foyer, just right behind the entrance.
Who with: Aike
Why you should join us: During this screening, we will be able to see short scenes from films from the Moving Image Archive. This is a national collection of moving image held at the National Library, and it includes everything from documentaries, films, news broadcasts, advertisements and lots more.
On the 8th of March, it is International Women’s Day, so this event has specifically picked scenes from the films in the archive that will take a critical and comical look at historical gender roles.
The screening will start at 2 PM, which is why we are meeting at 1.45 PM in the foyer of Kelvin Hall. The screening will be an hour-long, and afterwards we’ll have a cup tea or coffee paid for by the Library in the café.
