Researching Women’s History in Clydebank

This ongoing course is for local women interested in doing some detective work on women’s history in Clydebank. No previous experience or knowledge is necessary to join this friendly informal group.

Wednesdays from 25th January, 1pm-3pm , Centre 81, Clydebank

The group are currently creating a scrapbook about the history of women in Clydebank and learning how to do research in local libraries and archives. This course is organised with support from Clydebank Housing Association and Community Links Scotland.

Or maybe you know the story behind a name?  We want women across Scotland to go out and find the monuments, landmarks, street names and buildings that mark the lives and achievements of women (whether famous, humble or notorious) who have helped to shape Scotland.
