This exhibition reflects on 25 years of ground-breaking contemporary collecting of women’s history at GWL.

Recognition and Reflection: 25 Years of Collecting and Making Women’s History, Saturday 17th September to Saturday 8th October, visit during GWL opening hours.

Delving into the nationally recognised archive and museum collections, staff and volunteers have selected key items that document the history of women and of GWL. Without the pioneering work of the library much of this material, and the stories it allows us to share, may not have survived.

Booking

This exhibition is free to attend and there is no need to book. For opening times see the ‘Where to Find Us’ section of the website.
