Glasgow Women’s Library are excited to be piloting a new reading group in Edinburgh for women of colour (aged 16+) to come together and discuss literature by women writers of colour. Our first four meetings will be held fortnightly on Wednesdays on the 7th and 21st November, and 5th and 19th December, 6pm to 7pm at the Lighthouse Bookshop in Edinburgh.
Attendance is free, and we’ll be exploring a range of work from film poetry to essays to young adult fiction and short stories and more! The reading group is a great opportunity to meet new people, exchange and share conversations and ideas, and share passion for writing by women of colour.

This reading group is for women of colour and is free to attend. All women-only events are inclusive of trans and intersex women, as well as non-binary and gender fluid people who identify in a significant way as woman or female.
