Poetry Picnic with Grey Hen Press

We’re delighted to be hosting our third poetry event in partnership with Grey Hen Press. Joy Howard founded Grey Hen Press to celebrate the wit and wisdom of women, particularly older women. Since then her much-praised anthologies have won big audiences with their tough, tender, laugh-out-loud funny take on modern life.

To celebrate the launch of Grey Hen’s latest publications, on the themes of ‘Colour, Weather and The Seasons’, poets including Anne Clarke, Anne Murray, Sheila Templeton, Mandy Macdonald, Helena Nelson and Joy Howard will be reading some of their wonderful new poems. Bring along a sandwich and enjoy a unique and inspiring lunch time experience!
