On Friday 7th October, 10am to 5pm, this Symposium/Poetry Festival on Outside and Subterranean Poetry comes to Glasgow Women’s Library.
Women’s often marginal positions can encourage innovative poetic choices, which contribute to social comment; part of Outside-In/Inside-Out Festival this day investigates and rejoices women’s 20th and 21st century experimental poetry.
Discover women’s poetry as a source of social challenge, with presentations and performances on topics including the poetry of protest, BME women’s poetry and the 20th century sound poet Lily Greenham. Holly Pester will run an afternoon workshop on material from GWL’s archives.
