If you’re missing the chance to mosey around museums, looking to discover new examples of women’s contributions to arts and culture or you’re just keen to pass some time on a Wednesday afternoon, you are not alone and that is why we’re Still Seeing Things.
Every Wednesday afternoon at 12.30pm a GWL Volunteer will be taking over @womenslibrary Twitter to guide a virtual visit to an online exhibition or museum archive. So far we’ve seen artist films, travelled to all the way to MOMA in New York and been treated to Tweet tours around exhibitions of work by iconic artists Judy Chicago and Frida Kahlo. There’s plenty more to be seen out there, even while staying at home. No prior knowledge or interest is necessary and all are welcome to ask questions and share thoughts.
