Whether you love it, hate it, or are completely indifferent towards it, we all have it: body hair. Yet, we don’t often talk about it. And what’s more, we don’t often question our feelings and assumptions about it.
Join us from the comfort of your own home as we virtually delve into our archives to explore some of the ways body hair was represented in women’s girls, and feminist magazines over the past century. After a short presentation, we will open it up for discussion and the opportunity to share our own experiences of body hair with each other. Join for what is sure to be a hair-raising event!
You can read more about GWL volunteer Melody’s research into body hair here.
