Due to an administrative error, we have had to make the decision to cancel this walk.
This hilly walk, based in one of Glasgow’s most fascinating Victorian garden cemeteries, looks at the stories of both the notorious and the forgotten women who are buried in these atmospheric and ethereal surroundings, with fantastic views over the city.
Please not that the route includes several flights of uneven steps, some with handrails and some without. Unfortunately we can only accept support dogs on the walk.
Large print versions of the tour guides’ scripts are available on the day.
This event has been cancelled.
The route is around 1 mile/1.5km long. This includes 4 flights of steps, some with handrails and other without. We go up flights of stairs and also come down some. The route follows paths but there are a couple of sections across grass which can be uneven, wet and muddy.
