Glasgow Women’s Library are delighted to announce we will be holding a free online creative writing workshop with acclaimed poet Roshni Gallagher. In this online workshop via Zoom, participants will explore nature writing and its themes of wellbeing and connection, with a chance to try exciting writing activities devised by Roshni. Whether you’re a regular writer or have never picked up a pen before, this free workshop is a gentle way to begin exploring the outdoors from the comfort of your own corner!
Roshni is a poet based in Edinburgh. She is a Scottish Book Trust New Writer’s Awardee 2022. Her work has appeared in a variety of literary magazines and publications including Gutter, Best Scottish Poems 2020, Butcher’s Dog, The Scotsman newspaper, and is forthcoming in New Writing Scotland. In her work, she explores themes of nature, connection, and memory.
