March of Women will be popping up in the West End on Saturday 11th July at 12.30pm. Following the sensational March of Women, held on the eve of International Women’s Day 2015, women from the roaring twenties will make an appearance at the Kelvingrove Bandstand for a special one off performance.
A day to celebrate the activities of the 1920s era! Visit the Kelvingrove Bandstand for performances and activities for all the family themed around the 1920s when the bandstand was in its heyday. There will be music, fashion, dance and a heritage walk. Be swept back in time to the roaring 20s! This day is brought to you in association with Mischief La Bas and Glasgow Life.
We will also be holding a Women of the West End Heritage walk as part of the event, book your free place on the day at the Glasgow Women’s Library stall, where you can also take part in rosette making and find out more about the Library.
March of Women is a partnership between the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Glasgow Women’s Library.
