**DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL THIS EVENT HAS NOW BEEN CANCELLED**
Following its triumphant launch in September at GWL, March is now making its way around Scotland. The film documents a large scale public art event, March of Women, that involved women from Glasgow and Aberdeen that spilled out onto the streets of Bridgeton on the eve of International Women’s Day 2015. Adapted from Cicely Hamilton’s popular suffragette play A Pageant of Great Women, the film brings a diverse community of women from across Scotland to the screen for the first time and celebrates the lives and achievements of Scotland’s women, past and present.
6-8pm, Thursday 3rd March

The film is shown in Aberdeen in partnership with Aberdeen Women’s Alliance and Aberdeen City Council and will include a post-screening Q and A with special guests Anna Birch, artistic director of March and Adele Patrick, Lifelong Learning and Creative Development Manager of Glasgow Women’s Library.
