In a series of dramatic monologues bringing to life fascinating stories of laundry maids who ran away, nurses who caught fever after fever, kitchen staff who rebelled and the rare women doctors who followed their calling against all odds, we showcase Voices from the Belvidere.
Over the last few months, we have been researching and writing about the women associated with the Belvidere Fever Hospital in the East End of Glasgow around the time of the First World War.
Now hear their voices.

This event is women only and we prefer for tickets to be booked in advance whenever possible. This event costs £2 full price. We offer subsidised free places for students, people on a low income, unemployed or those in receipt of benefit and Friends of GWL.
